Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SOKS & JOKS. These terms set out the agreement between you and us when you browse our website or place an order. Please read them carefully — by using the site or buying from us, you accept them.

About us

SOKS & JOKS is a small Irish gift-box brand specialising in premium socks and jocks. You can reach us at info@soksandjoks.ie for anything order-related, product questions or general enquiries.

Placing an order

When you place an order through our site, you’re making an offer to buy. We’ll send a confirmation email once your order is received, and a second email once it has been packed and dispatched. The contract between us is formed when we dispatch the goods, not when you pay.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order — for example if an item is out of stock, if there’s been a clear pricing error, or if we’re unable to ship to your delivery address. If we cancel, you’ll receive a full refund.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in Euro (€) and include Irish VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify’s secure payment system. We don’t see or store your full card details.

We do our best to keep prices and product information accurate, but mistakes happen. If we spot a significant pricing error after you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you before dispatch and give you the option to confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Shipping

We currently ship to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only. Standard delivery is €5, with free shipping on orders over €40. Most orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

Returns

By purchasing from our online store, you agree to our terms and conditions. For hygiene and safety reasons, all socks and jocks items are final sale, and we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.

If something arrives damaged, faulty or different to what you ordered, please email info@soksandjoks.ie within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We’ll either replace it or refund you in full, including the original delivery charge, and we’ll cover the cost of sending it back. 

If part of a bundle is faulty, please get in touch and we’ll sort a replacement for the affected item rather than asking for the full box back.

Product descriptions and images

We try to show our products as accurately as possible, but exact colours can vary slightly between screens, and packaging details may occasionally change. Where there’s a meaningful difference between a product as described and as delivered, please contact us and we’ll put it right.

Intellectual property

The SOKS & JOKS name, logo, photography, copy and overall site design are owned by us or used under licence. You’re welcome to share product pages on social media, but please don’t copy or republish our content without written permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights, our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else we’re not legally allowed to exclude. Beyond that, our liability for any single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Privacy and cookies

We only use your personal details to process orders and, where you’ve opted in, to send occasional updates. For more on how the site uses cookies, see our Cookie Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example to reflect changes in the law or how we run the shop. Any changes apply to orders placed after the update; orders already in flight are covered by the terms in place when you bought.

Governing law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
